Eastalent-Racing competes in the International GT Open Championship

Kirchberg bei Mattighofen/Upper Austria: Eastalent-Racing from Austria announced today that the team has registered to compete in the 2023 International GT Open Championship. Team owner Peter Reicher shares the news: “We carefully selected the GT Open. The series visits circuits that are well-suited for a GT3 car. Additionally, the series is organized very professionally, which we have consistently observed for several years now. Also, we can access all circuits in the calendar with our team truck.”

What additional plans do the Austrians have for 2023? “This season we are running two Audi R8 LMS Evo II cars. One vehicle will race in the GT Open and we plan to use the second car for the Nürburgring Endurance Series. Additional involvements in the Creventic and GTC series are possible. We will announce our driver pairings as soon as we have finalized our crew.”

The first of seven GT Open events takes place April 28-30 at the Portuguese circuit of Portimao. Four weeks later, the series heads to Spa Francorchamps in Belgium May 26-28. The next stop takes place June 16-18 at the Hungaroring in Hungary. Paul Ricard in France from July 21-23 marks the final race before summer break. Eastalent-Racing’s home race will be hosted September 8-10 at the Red Bull Ring in Spielberg. The second-to-last race takes place in Monza, Italy from September 22-24 before the grand finale from October 20-22 in Barcelona, Spain.
